Dear Parent of Year 11 student
Your child’s time at secondary school has almost come to an end, and they are now looking forward to a well-deserved summer break. I would like to make you aware of some activities that they may be interested in, and also to give detail of our continued support to them, throughout this time.
If your child would like to continue their personal development and careers preparations during the summer holidays, please consider the National Citizenship Service (NCS) https://wearencs.com/ Alternatively, they can continue with the work experience opportunities shared to them on their Year11 Careers Teams portal.
My support is available to your child throughout the summer term therefore if you, or they, have any queries or require any careers advice or support I can be contacted via the school teams, telephone, by email or meeting by arrangement.
We regularly monitor our careers services provided to our students, and parents perspective is critical to this audit. This is to ensure we continue to improve and provide impartial careers support which is both useful and purposeful to you and your child. With that in mind I would be grateful if you could log into and complete our careers and guidance survey. https://forms.office.com/r/yLhjMSFg3d
As we progress beyond this year, we would love to hear about your child’s career journey and success. If you would like us to follow their careers success, please ask them to provide us with their personal email and keep us updated and email is as we would be thrilled to see how they are progressing with your career and would love for them to a part of our growing alumni.
May we take this opportunity to wish them well with their future plans and to say that it has been a privilege to work with them.
