What is MCAS?

As a parent/carer, everything you need will now be in a single app called My Child at School (MCAS). As well as being accessible on your mobile devices, MCAS is also accessible via a web browser meaning it can be viewed on a laptop or computer. Unlike the apps we have used in the past, MCAS is live. The information updates in realtime. As soon as you sign in, you have all the information at your fingertips.

The MCAS portal enables parents/carers exclusive access to the child's Attendance, Assessment and Behaviour whenever the parent/carer wishes.

The MCAS App is also used across our School and Sixth Form for

  • Online Payments
  • Clubs, Trips and Wraparound Care Bookings
  • Messages
  • Reports
  • Data Collections and Parent consents

Please use the account the we have set up for you, if you haven’t yet activated your account, please speak to the admin team, or email shope@ems.bhcet.org.uk who will be happy to help. Please ensure you allow notifications when setting up the MCAS App, to ensure you receive the latest updates from college.

 

How to get MCAS?

The MCAS App is available from the App Store (Apple) or Play Store (Android) and can be downloaded on most tablets and smartphones.

If you are struggling to log in or have forgotten your password, you can reset this without speaking to the us by clicking the “reset password” this will then send an email to you with a link to reset your password. 

 

 

Quick Tips

Got the app but not receiving messages?
This could be a number of things - as a starting point, you can try deleting the app and re-installing. Sometimes the system can't see you have it installed. If that doesn't work - the best thing to to do is email shope@ems.bhcet.org.uk who will be able to check your settings for you.

Never logged in?
If you have never logged in before, you will need an email sending to setup your account for the first time. You can get this by contacting the school office on 01429 273790 or email Mr Hope on the address above.

Don't know my Pin Number?
The pin number is something you setup when you first install the app. We can't tell you what it is.  If that doesn't jog your memory, simply delete the app from your device and re-install.  This will let you set a new one.

Forgot Your Password or Password reset link expired?
No problem! Just press the reset password link and it will email you. Once you have change your password, you can log back in.
