On Wednesday 20th October, we held a House Pumpkin Carving competition.
The event, which originated as a remote house activity during the first lockdown, proved popular with students so we decided to add to our annual events calendar.
The competition which featured ten pairs of students, two pairs from each house, scooping and carving for 40 minutes to create their spooky masterpieces.
After the time was up, the pumpkins were judged and ranked in order. The Individual results are as follows:
1st - Boste
2nd - Line
3rd - Ingram
4th - Ingram
5th - More
6th - Boste
7th - Clitherow
8th - Line
9th - More
10th - Clitherow
The scores for the above order where then combined for each house to create our final leader board.
The students from St. John and Blessed John Ingram took joint first place taking 8 points each for their houses.
St. Anne Line came in third, with St. Thomas More and St Margaret Clitherow finishing 4th and 5th respectively.
