Dear Parent / Carer,
I am writing to invite you to our Year 7 Parents’ Information Evening on Thursday, 22nd September 5.00-6.00pm. Please sign in at our main reception.
At The English Martyrs Catholic School and Sixth Form College, we recognise how vital it is to work closely and positively with parents and would like to offer this early opportunity to visit the school now your child is in Year 7.
On Thursday, there will be an opportunity for parents to hear a presentation about Year 7 and the work that students are doing. There will be an opportunity to see the work students have done as part of their Transition Project ‘Journey’ as well as some of their best work since joining us. There is an opportunity to talk to Tutors and the SENCo. Mr Hutchinson will also be available to answer any questions you may have.
We will also offer some practical ways in which you can support your child at home.
Students are welcome to attend, they do not need to wear school uniform.
This is not a parents evening where individual appointments are made to speak to subject teachers. The date for this is 26th January 2023 when students have had longer in school to report progress.
However, if you have any concerns or queries staff will be on hand to offer support
