Dear Parents/ Carers
All students have had assemblies today reaffirming our high expectations for learning and high standards of behaviour and attitudes.
We are very proud of our students who strive to follow our high expectations every day. We will continue to celebrate their achievements and effort through our reward system. If standards are not upheld, sanctions will be applied and support provided, in line with our policies.
Changes to our behaviour system reinforce our high standards and we are changing the consequence system so it is more focused to engage, monitor and support students inside and outside of lessons.
Attendance to school and all lessons is essential for success. In instances when students are late for school or late for lessons detentions will be given.
We also expect high standards of uniform and students must wear full school uniform. Trainers, false eyelashes and false nails are not permitted. Students are allowed to wear a small pair of stud earrings and a watch, no other jewellery is allowed.
We very much value your support in ensuring students are on time and ready to learn.
If you need any support with any issue please do contact your child’s Pastoral Leader or Assistant Headteacher Mr Gray (agray@ems.bhcet.org.uk).
