Dear Parents / Carers,
I hope that you have had a restful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Ahead of school returning on Monday 8th January 2024 below are some key reminders
Uniform
All students must wear full and correct uniform (this includes school shoes. Trainers are not permitted). False nails or false eyelashes are not allowed and must be removed before the start of term. Parents will be contacted if students are not following our uniform expectations. If you need any support with uniform, please contact your child’s Pastoral Leader.
Every child should have:
- Equipment (Pen, Ruler, Pencil)
- Planner
- Reading book
- School bag
- PE kit for PE lessons or sports clubs.
Attendance
Attendance to school is crucial for students to make progress academically and to ensure they are confident and enjoy the many opportunities that are offered in school. This includes developing a love of learning, reading, trips and securing life-long friendships. Everyday matters and if you need support in getting your child to school, please contact us.
School starts at 8.45 am, please ensure students are in school for 8.40am. We are working hard to ensure students attend everyday and are on time for school and this will be a focus for 2024.

MCAS
It is very important that we can share with you information about your child and our platform for sharing key information and updates is via the school app. Please download the app ‘My Child at School’ from the app store/play store and register. If your email address matches our system, it will sync and show you your child.
This app is also used to purchase items, pay for trips/visits, top up dinner money, progress reviews & more. A weekly Achievement/Behaviour report is now sent out on a Friday.
Kind Regards
Sara Crawshaw
