Dear Students, Parents, and Carers,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. I hope this letter finds you all in good health and high spirits and that all students have had a productive and positive beginning to the new term. As we begin this new academic year, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to our returning students and a special greeting to all our new students and their families.

As we step into this new term together, I want to remind you of the incredible potential within each of you. This is a fresh chapter, brimming with possibilities for learning, growth, and achievement. I encourage you to embrace this fresh start with enthusiasm and see the opportunities it presents.

At  English Martyrs, we are committed to providing a caring and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Our teachers are excited to support the students both inside and outside of the classroom. This year promises to be filled with opportunities for learning and personal development. From engaging lessons in the classroom to exciting extracurricular and enrichment activities, there’s something for everyone. It is important that students attend school every day so that they can benefit from this support and these opportunities. I want to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your support as parents and carers as we embark upon this journey together. I want to thank the students for coming to school with positive attitudes to learning. Education is about achieving your academic potential, but it is also about growth, friendship, and discovering our passions. I look forward to celebrating the achievements of the students and seeing them make progress this year.

Yours faithfully and with every good wish,

Mrs C Hogarth
