Dear Parent and Carer,
I am Nicholas Lindsay, the newly appointed Director of Pastoral Care. It is a great honour to be asked to serve your community. My role is to support you as families to break down any potential barriers which make it a challenge for your child to engage in their learning so that they can obtain the best possible range of life skills and qualifications to allow them to excel and succeed in adult life.
The school and its families are very much a team; we all want the best for our children.
Please can you remind and support your child about the expectations that Mrs. Crawshaw has set out for us in terms of punctuality, uniform, equipment and expectations of conduct so that we can act purposefully with pride for positive outcomes.
I will be speaking to all of the children in assemblies this week and I know that we can work together in happiness and dedication to learning.
Please contact the school at any time; if your query relates to an issue which is specifically about a subject area please ask for this to be referred to the Curriculum Leader for that subject.
If the query is related to any type of welfare concern, please refer this in the first instance to your child’s Pastoral Manager.
If your child is on the SEN register and your query relates to laces to learning, please refer this to Mrs. White and the SENCO team.
We all recognise that this school has enormous potential and great things happen here every day; we must all work together with dignity, faith, renewed compassion and energy so that our children can achieve and succeed in the present and future on merit and in social justice.
Yours in education
Nicholas Lindsay
Director of Pastoral Care
